Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a reminder to all KMBC members that the club have a stand at the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition which is being held Thursday15 to Sunday 18 October 2026 at the Warwickshire Events Centre, opening times 10.00 to 16.30 Thu-Sat and 10.00 to 16.00 on Sun. KMBC stand is next to the tea stand so you can enjoy a cuppa while appreciating our members contributions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 30 clubs and societies will be exhibiting and 40 specialist trade suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blades of Thunder helicopter display, Thu – Sun 11.30 & 1.30<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fosse Way Steamers parade Thu, Fri, Sat 2.00 & Sun 12.30<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gas Turbine builders association demonstration, Thu, Fri & Sat 11.00, 13.00 & 15.00 & Sun 11.00 & 13.00<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Launch Ramp<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Members refurbishing the launch ramp to extend the reach to enable easier access to the water. An elevated launch position with the winch at waist height rather than ankle height allows boats to be positioned without bending. The ramp now reaches to the bottom of the pond which makes the ramp more stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately the water level at KMBC pond continues to drop this has led to the cancellation of KMBC participation in the Steam Day next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
